Typical Client Work Flow

Evaluate the Problem

The four primary areas where beneficiaries encounter denials are: 1) death during the contestability period; 2) type of death not covered under the policy; 3) failure of insured to disclose relevant personal information; and 4) failure to timely pay policy premiums. I communicate with the client and the insurer to understand their positions. If the life insurance policy is governed by ERISA, there are time limits for employees to appeal and for the insurance company to respond.

Demand Payment

I will order a copy of the policy, perform research and gather medical and other relevant evidence to demand payment from the life insurer or accidental death insurer.

File Lawsuit, If Necessary

If payment is not timely made, I will file your lawsuit and gladly represent you in court, if necessary.

Contingency Fee

I work on a contingency fee basis. This means I receive my fee out of the money I recover for you. If I do not recover any money, I don’t receive a fee, costs or expenses. I will never ask you for a retainer or deposit. I get paid only after I collect money for you.
